Professor Philip Wright has had a variety of life experiences. He has worked between the ranging from factory worker to full professor at University. As he has worked in Canada, in mining, manufacturing, government service, consulting and academia at two levels community college and university. Since obtaining his Ph.D. where has graduated at Penn State University when he was the age of 43, he has had teaching contracts in the USA, the Czech Republic, Poland, the Ukraine, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. As part of this journey, he taught in 11 different MBA programs and served as Academic Dean of the Canadian Institute of Management for 13 years, while earning the rank of Full Professor at the University of New Brunswick. At present, he is Professor and Head, Dept. of Business Administration, at Hong Kong Shue Yan University. Professor Wright has published 82 referred papers and six books up to present. His present project is a book on training and development, which will be published in the Chinese language.
